An 18th century oak dresser base is a fabulous piece of Georgian furniture. this oak base measures 2 metres wide and will make a superb server or console table and has generous storage with its three deep drawers. It has a two planked top with a grooved moulding to the edge and an attractively shaped apron, standing on square tapering legs, all with a lovely patina and deep colour which has been undisturbed. The brass plates have been replaced at some stage and are very much in keeping with the piece.
It continueS to provide both functionality and style, 250 years into its life. A true antique which will look wonderful in any home.
In good age related condition, with a wonderful patina, a few marks commensurate with age, historic signs of worm, inactive and treated to he back of one drawer, with a lovely little burr like knot hole on the top back right corner of the piece. No key, lock plates are present.
