A great piece of storage, this can be used for a wide variety of small items or papers and will make for a tidy home, giving space for everything from craft supplies to tools, socks to photographs. Each of the 28 drawers has a drawer pull with a label frame, so that it will be easy to keep track of the contents, and the labels from its last use remain to show that it has been used in recent times for geology samples. The oak has a handsome dark stain and it stands on a plinth base with metal corner strengthening supports the length of the back edges. Many of the drawers have shaped sectional separators fixed inside.
Dating to the first half of the 20th century, this is made of oak and originates from England.
In good age related condition, this has the characterful marks expected from regular use over a long time, with some stains and wear to the top. Some of the drawer pulls are slightly bent, but this is not obtrusive and does not affect their functionality. Not all of the drawers have the shaped internal separators present, but many do.
