A handsome mahogany chests of drawers with a deep mahogany colour, this piece has been refinished and is ready for the home. It has an unusual configuration, with 3 smaller drawers at the top, the central one with a bowed front and flanked by 2 others, ideal for socks or other bits and pieces. The lower drawers are graduated in size. The top has a lovely carved surround in a rope pattern and there is a back board with a demi lune shape at the centre, which stops items falling from the back. A lovely piece of functional storage, this will work well in any bedroom.
Dating to circa 1910, this is made of mahogany and originates from England.
In good age related condition, this has been refinished and is ready for the home. The back board is slightly loose, but the piece is otherwise sturdy. The key is available and works in all of the drawer locks.
