A George III oak lowboy circa 1800. This very simple yet very pleasant lowboy stands on four straight, slightly tapering legs. It has two small drawers either side if a carved, shaped apron above which is a single long drawer. All the drawers have pine linings, mahogany banding and cockbeading. It retains its original brass swan neck handles but has lost one back plate and an escutcheon. Complete with original key for top drawer, but missing keys to the other drawers. the oak top is banded with mahogany and has a shaped, moulded edge. It has been cleaned and repolished.
