A wonderful old french birdcage. This is a handmade piece from wood and steel. The cage has a square body which tapers up towards the roof, underneath which hangs the perch. Immediately outside are four hanging wooden blocks used for keeping the beak healthy. There are two feeding stations either side of the cage with an opening spring door for access. The wood has a great patina and look. The metal work is in very good condition as is the whole of the cage. This is a lovely old thing from around the 1900s. Magnifique!
