An oak desk circa 1920 with solid oak writing surface. Two small drawers to either side of larger central drawer to upper section. The top separates from the two pedestals for ease of transport. Both pedestals appear identical giving the desk a pleasing symmetry. One pedestal however has a single drawer while the other encloses a cupboard. All the drawers and the cupboard have well carved fronts and original brass handles. Each pedestal stands on four turned legs joined by stretchers. Recently repolished by our on-site restorer.
