An early 19th century Country-house quality Herefordshire borders elm dresser with a wonderful and unusual shaped arch back mounted with three turned finials, with a generous deep work surface over two banks of four drawers, flanking a central panelled cupboard door enclosing shelves, raised on a decorative shaped frieze incorporating the feet.
Good age related condition, with some restoration. Some locks are missing, there are spaces where the hinges have been replaced on the door, and there is some evidence of restored split wood at the vertical front edges at both ends.
Originates from Herefordshire, UK.
Dates to the 19th Century circa 1820.
