Description

Large Victorian Coal Scuttle. This an attractive and substantial coal scuttle. Cast in Iron with some wonderful brass decoration this large piece would make a statement in any setting. The form of the body is curved and sits on a nicely decorated foot. The lid is hinged and is bordered with some distinctive floral decoration. There is a large brass panel on the lid with similar decoration and the contrast of the two metals is stunning. An impressive and very heavy piece. The scuttle comes with an additional scoop.
The piece is in good condition with only age related signs of wear.
