A wonderfully crafted near pair of late 20th century English oak benches, these are sturdily made and have the same design with only slight differences in construction.
– Comfortable seats, with slightly sloping back support.
– Lovely light oak colour which works well in a modern interior.
– Three plank seats.
– Only differences appear to be the depth of the back lengthwise stretchers and the visible tenon joints in the tops at the back being square on one and circular on the other.
– Heavy pieces which have been well crafted and constructed from quality oak.
These will make ideal benches for either side of a table, in a kitchen or perhaps a restaurant or café, but will also work for a waiting area.
In good condition showing wear consistent with age and use. One of them shows slightly more wear than the other, being a more weathered or sun-exposed colour, with some minor water staining.
