A pair of oak 19th century chairs with a primitive look and feel.
-Each chair features a high back with slight curvy detailing to the slats.
-Shapely armrests that provide ample comfort and support for the users.
-Wide and solid slab-style seat base.
-Traditional 19th century hand-made craftsmanship with no metal fixings or fittings.
-Splendid patina and organically distressed.
A good choice for couples as well as for balance in any living space. Either side of a sideboard, table or window will be a warm and inviting arrangement.
In a distressed yet sturdy condition in-line with it’s age and past use. One leg to one chair has some movement, but it does not impede the functionality of the chair.
Due to each chair being made from natural solid oak the burrs and knots found on the surface of the wood are included. This makes for a wonderfully rustic and quintessential ‘English countryside cottage’ aesthetic.
