A rare late 18th century cabinet in yew, this piece has plenty of cupboard space and will fit easily into any room with limited wall availability, but an accommodating corner. There are two fixed shelves in the top section, with one in the bottom, and each of the doors is panelled and of a size which gives the overall impression of a connecting door. This is an attractive piece which will make a good storage option and a handsome addition to a period interior.
Dating to circa 1790, this is made of yew and originates from England.
In sturdy age related condition with the expected wear from long use, this has signs of old woodworm throughout. There is no lock or door furniture on the bottom cupboard, but the top has twist latches on the left and a working lock on the right, with the key available.
