Upon the back of one painting , on a label, the writing reads,
“View over Nottingdale oil on canvas ENQ: 428000 Christine McCausland”
Painted by Christine McCausland (1944-2020). Not much further information is known about McCausland, however we are aware she was known to have been close to the British poet Martin Bell (1918 – 1978). Having met him circa 1965 and lived alongside him in Leeds for a while before moving to London in the early 70’s, having still been in regular communication with Bell until his death in 1978.
Overall the assortment are in good condition, with general signs of age related wear.

Dated as late 20th century, circa 1970.
