A really nice Victorian Cream Jug.This nice piece of silver was hallmarked in Chester in 1896.
Although Victorian the jug is in the classic helmet form of the Georgian period. The foot is incorporated into a square base, another classic Georgian touch. The top has had a form of planishing to it and attached is a long thin silver handle. This is a nice example of a Georgian inspired Victorian cream jug.
