A wonderful Victorian marble top console table circa 1880. This very pretty console table has a shaped plinth and lower shelf, rising from which are well carved shapely cabriole legs to the front and flat supports with restrained, tasteful moulded decoration to rear. A serpentine shaped frieze with a beautifully carved flowing floral motif to the centre supports the shaped white marble top. The base has been restored and re-polished to a very high standard by our on-site restorer. The marble top has some small stains and scratches consistent with age and use, but is intact and in relatively good condition.
