This beautiful early 19th century oak food cupboard has the traditional decorative fretwork panels in the upper section allowing ventilation into the storage area, which has two shelves. The piece separates into two for ease of moving.
With a superb colour and patina, it has pine panelled sides with a grain paint to simulate the oak finish to the front, which is typical of a finish to these cupboards. With attractive brassware and holly inlaid key escutcheons.
It will make a great piece for a traditional country kitchen or as a good piece of attractive storage furniture within any home.
In good age related condition, the key is available.
