A fine example of its kind with accompanying research papers. The plaque is in memory of Lance Corporal Samuel Burton of ‘A’ company, 7th Battalion, Gloucestershire Regiment who died aged 23 on the 10th of February 1917 and is resting in the Amara War Cemetery.
