This teak highboard was made by the quality brand G Plan and has the E Gomme gold stamped label indicative of a date before the mid 1960s. It will look fabulous in a mid century interior and has plenty of storage, with room for cutlery and drinks, making it ideal for a dining room.
– Double cupboard at top, with removable shelf.
– Drop leaf cupboard to the top left, with slide supports both sides and fixed shelf, ideal for a drinks cabinet.
– 2 long drawers, with the top one sectioned for cutlery.
– Gold G Plan and E Gomme label stamped into top drawer base.
– Drop leaf cupboard bottom right.
– Tapered legs.
In good condition showing wear consistent with age and use. There is some sun fade to the wood. One of the fixings for the slide on the drinks cabinet is slightly corroded, but the leaf is held strongly in place. A crack across one of the drawer handles is visible, but it is not loose and does not affect function.
