A magnificent item of French furniture, this 18th century oak piece is in two parts, with a glazed vitrine or display cabinet at the top and drawers beneath. It will look stunning in a large room and is a wonderful quality antique.
– 3 drawer commode at the bottom.
– Lovely carving throughout, including flowers.
– Glazed top cabinet, with slightly green tinted glass.
– 3 removable shelves with lovely shaping to the front edges.
– Panelled sides.
– Cornice top.
– Heavy iron hook inside left door to hold it closed, with key to right side available.
– Paw front feet.
In good condition showing wear consistent with age and use.
