An attractive early Victorian chest of drawers, this has some lovely ebonised knobs to the drawers and the aged orange tone seen in some oak pieces. It will provide great storage in any bedroom, but look particularly nice in a period 19th century interior.
– 2 over 3 graduated drawers.
– Lovely original ebonised knobs.
– Bracket feet.
– Sectioned banded veneer along top edges.
In good condition showing wear consistent with age and use. There is a knot hole in the base of the top right drawer, which can easily be covered with lining paper. One of the knobs has a small chip from the base plate which is unobtrusive, with a couple of them being slightly loose requiring the washers to be tightened. The back boarding is a little loose at the sides, and there is some minor scuffing to the colour along the bottom edges of the drawers. The sectioned veneer along the top edging is slightly loose towards the right side. The locks are present, but no key is available.
