A good Charles II silver trefid spoon with rat tail by John Smith circa 1680. It has a nice deep bowl and pin engraved Initials M. L. to the reverse of the handle. The hallmarks for assay city and date have been rubbed but the makers mark can be clearly seen. A fine old spoon. Weight 47 grams.
