Description

A good quality pair of bronzes from the renowned French Artist Anatole J Guillot (1865-1911). The superbly detailed figure of a minstrel can be found serenading a beautiful maiden. The minstrel is holding a form of lute, the detailing to the face and hands is remarkable. The maiden looks on with again similar fine detail. Both pieces are set upon black slate and both are signed to the base.
