A lovely original piece of art by Adrian Heath (1920 to 1992), this is a mixed media piece with collage. Born in Burma, Heath studied art under Stanhope Forbes at Newlyn and attended the Slade School of Art. He worked with the St. Ives artists in Cornwall and In 1953 published a volume entitled ‘Abstract Painting: its Origins and Meaning’, appraising the development of abstraction by early modern artists. He was part of the constructivist art movement, producing works in oil, acrylics and collage.
