A quality piece of Victorian Aesthetic movement furniture, this small bifold screen in ebonised wood has three double-sided pokerwork panels. It is heavy, stable and ideal for concealing anything best hidden or messy, such as electrical wires, an empty fireplace, or a computer screen. It can be placed at floor level, but also on a desk or on top of a cupboard.

– Panels on one side show young women in various poses, on a swing, seated, with a child.
– The other side shows landscape scenes, with small human figures amongst trees.
– Heavy, high quality reversible brass hinges.
– Ebonised finials at the top and spindled rails at the bottom.
– Aesthetic period incised gilt decoration in the ebonised wood.
In good condition showing wear consistent with age and use.
