This wonderful carved oak lectern is double-sided and dates to the turn of the 20th century. It will look great in a library, music room, or converted chapel, with a book or sheet music on it, but might also be used to display smaller pictures.
– The top swivels, so that either side of the slope can be viewed.
– Bronzed sconces on both sides, which can be extended or folded flat to the sides.
– Beautifully carved on all four faces of the top.
– Octagonal stand with four feet.
In good condition showing wear consistent with age and use. There are some minor signs of historical woodworm around the base.
