Description

A fine period tea caddy with provenance from an 18th Century country house, Mallow Castle. The caddy is well made with a 20 section fan inlaid into the interior of the lid. Inlay also decorates some of the edges of the exterior. The internal body of the caddy has been adapted in later years. The lid has a scrolled brass handle with a brass key escutcheon to the front. A classic Georgian piece.
