Description

A lovely piece of vernacular oak furniture this primitive Windsor chair has a graceful charm, with relatively narrow spindles and a low seat. It will look charming in a farmhouse kitchen, or by the fireside in an English country cottage.

– High back with elegantly narrow spindles.
– Bobbin turned front arm support spindles.
– H stretcher.
– Low, saddle seat.

Showing wear consistent with age and use, this is in nice condition for an early piece and has no loose joints, standing sturdily.
