A lovely antique to have about the house, this early 19th century fire bucket has ‘Windsor Castle’ painted on it in faded gilt lettering. It is a nice small size, making it ideal for use as a kindling container, but might also be kept by the fire for its traditional use if filled with sand.
– Black with painted white interior and gilt lettering.
– Leather strap handle on iron rings.
– Good weight.
– Rivetted around the base and up the side seam.
In good condition showing wear consistent with age and use.
