A fabulous piece of furniture for a traditional office interior or a snug, this 18th century Georgian walnut chair has a beautiful elm seat. It will work in a corner position or at a desk and has a wonderful shape across the back, extending into the arms.
– Wide, comfortable seat in burr elm with a lovely colour and pattern to the wood.
– Tactile back extending into the arms.
– Square stretcher.
– Pierced and turned supports.
– Square section legs.
In good condition showing wear consistent with age and use. There are characterful signs of old woodworm along the back and arms which have been patinated and polished over long use.
