Description

A fine petite silver sauce boat by Thomas Shepherd. The handle has some light gadrooning to the top which leads down to a waved bowl and large spout. The body sits on three graduated feet. The hallmarks for London 1771 can be found to the base. This is a good quality early piece of practical and attractive Georgian silver. Weight 102 grams.
