A useful table with genuine character, this late 17th century gateleg table came from a Derbyshire estate and will look wonderful in an English cottage or a larger country home. The leaves fold down, allowing it to be stored in a smaller space and used with one or two sides erected as needed.
– Drawer on one side, with green felt lining.
– Turned legs.
– Characterful top, with the marks and wear of long use.
In sturdy condition, with the top showing the wear of over 300 years of use. There are a couple of small patches of old woodworm damage on the table edge, close to the drawer, as to be expected for a piece of this age.
