Description

A wonderful George III mahogany plate bucket or pail, this still has a function for clearing a large table in a contemporary home, but with its later tole liner will equally well serve as a log or firewood container.

– Brass fittings and handle.
– Later metal liner.
– Side opening for stacking plates.
– Written label on the bottom says “Ash Park Surrey”.
– Marking on wood of base “WV73JA”.

In good condition showing wear consistent with age and use.
