A great pair of heavy late Victorian cast iron planters, these are in solid condition and will look wonderful filled with flowering plants in a country garden.
– Two holes in the base of each for drainage.
– Carrying handles at the sides.
– Leaf, birds and flower motifs cast into the iron.
– Green colour, with pearlescent finish.
– Flared, hollow bases to allow water drainage.
In good condition showing wear consistent with age and use. There is some surface corrosion, but they are sturdy and solid.
