A handsome butcher’s block in sycamore, traditionally used for its natural antiseptic properties, this appears to have been repurposed at some point as a bench and will either make a fabulous seat for a garden or rustic interior, or could be dismantled and remounted for use as a kitchen block.
– Characterfully scarred and shaped top from use as a butcher’s block.
– Mounted on a standing frame with splayed legs.
– Solid, heavy and sturdy.
– Beautiful light colour wood.
In good condition showing wear consistent with age and use. There is some wear at the ends of the legs where it has been standing, possibly outside.
