An unusual 19th century cow horn and oak hallstand, this is ideal for hanging hats and coats and has a drip tray at the bottom for umbrellas and sticks which will be contained by the lowest horns. It will make a talking piece for any entrance hall.
– 11 attached horns with rounded pewter tips.
– Original removable metal drip tray.
– Decorative roundels to the oak upright.
In good general condition showing wear to the drip tray and base consistent with age and use. Three of the horns are slightly loose, but are functional for hanging. There is some historical woodworm around the the bottom of the upright, which has been treated.
