A fabulous piece of mid 20th century craftsmanship and design, this is from one of the famed English Yorkshire ‘Critter’ group and combines the beauty of high quality materials and workmanship with functionality. This will make a great pair of side tables, to be used as a drinks trolley when required.
– Made by one of the Yorkshire ‘Critters’ furniture makers, Derek Slater, who was an apprentice to the ‘Acornman’ Alan Grainger.
– Lizard signature is climbing up one of the legs.
– Original castors.
– Two tiers, with low retaining edges to the frame around each.
– Tiers separate, to use as two pieces.
– Beautiful grain and patina to the oak.
In good condition showing wear consistent with age and use.
