Description

An unusual piece of 19th century vernacular oak furniture, this cockfighting stool is shaped like a birthing stool, with three legs and a sloping back. It will make an attractive addition to a period home.

– Three splayed legs with visible joints.
– T-shaped seat and back in two pieces.
– Upturned ends to the seat.
– Top of the back pierced with heart shape.

In good condition showing wear consistent with age and use.
