A wonderful piece for the collector, this 19th century double sided gingerbread mould is nearly a metre tall and will have been used as a window exhibit. It will make a fabulous display piece for a country kitchen and stands alone as a unique piece of folk art.
– On one side is a gentleman who may be a gamekeeper, holding a dead rabbit by the feet.
– The other side shows a woman with prominent nose and chin, a basket on her back with a bird at the top and carrying an umbrella or parasol.
– Wonderful primitive style carving.
– Dowel holes along top and bottom side edges.
In good condition showing wear consistent with age and use.
