A pleasing decorative piece, this little letterbox was made by the Army & Navy Co-op Society Ltd, originally formed in the 19th century by army and naval officers who clubbed together to buy wine at wholesale prices. They also later manufactured items for retail, as was the case with this lovely piece. It will make a great little storage box for smaller items, or simply ornament a room.
